GSM : What do I need to do when Bluetooth device search is not working? (When a Bluetooth device fails to be detected)
When a USB device fails to be detected and Bluetooth device search is not working, check the followings;
- Check if your mobile phone supports a Bluetooth connection.
- Check if the activate item on the Bluetooth menu of your mobile phone is on.
- Check if the visibility item on the Bluetooth menu of your mobile phone is on.
- Check if Bluetooth hardware and software are installed and running on the PC.
- Please install one of the following pieces of software to connect via Bluetooth:
- Microsoft Stack: Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher
- Widcomm Stack: v. 1.4.2.10 SP5 or higher
- BlueSoleil Stack: v. 1.6.0 or higher
- Toshiba Stack: v. 3.0 or higher
※The list of software programs that support Bluetooth.
- Check if your mobile phone is detected by applicable Bluetooth software.
- If your mobile phone is detected, pair it in the Bluetooth software and check it in the NPS.
- If your mobile phone fails to be detected, check if the PC is detected by your mobile phone.
- If your mobile phone detects the PC, pair it with the PC and check it in NPS.
